DIY Homemade Face Scrub For Normal To Dry Skin

DIY-facescrub

Hello beautiful readers, I hope you are having a wonderful time with your loved ones. Here in India, it is the rainy season. Monsoon starts in June and lasts until mid-September. Where most of the people love rain and enjoy this season, I personally don’t like it. Where this season brings you a big relief and a smile on your face after hot summery days, on the other hand, it brings humid climate, heavy rains, strong winds, floods, leakages, drainages, traffic, etc.

This weather creates an ideal environment for infectious diseases like viral fever, stomach infections, colds, flues, etc. We also go through so many fungal and bacterial skin infections. Due to the humid climate so, many of us get acne and pimple-related problems. So in that situation, it is really important to take extra care of your skin.

Today, I am going to share a DIY homemade face scrub. It is ideal for normal to dry skin but, oily skin people can also give it a try. Face scrubs really help you to extract the extra amount of oil from your skin.

SO, Let’s see how to make a DIY homemade face scrub.

What ingredients do you need for DIY face scrub?

1/2 tablespoon Sandalwood (Chandan) powder (a bit coarse)
1/2 tablespoon Orange peel powder
1/2 tablespoon Honey
1/2 tablespoon Aloe Veera gel
1-2 tablespoon Milk

How to prepare DIY Face Scrub?

Mix all the above ingredients and make a semi-liquidy paste. You can adjust the quantity of milk to make a perfect paste.
Now keep the paste aside for 5 minutes.

How to apply Face Scrub?

Wet your face and apply the scrub all over the face. Now rub your face slowly in a circular motion. Do not be harsh on your skin.

For how long should I scrub my face?

Do not scrub your face for more than 2 minutes. Excess scrubbing can damage your skin and also cause acne.

Do I need to use face Scrub daily?

Once or twice a week is enough to use a face scrub.

Are homemade scrubs bad?

Not at all, even the Homemade or DIY face scrubs are best to use as you know what all ingredients are being used in it. Also, you can skip the ingredients which are allergic to your skin.

Now, the most important question is

How helpful is this Face scrub for your skin?

While choosing the ingredients, I keep in mind all the ingredients should be mild on my skin. All the above ingredients in this face scrub are full of antioxidants and, they contain anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antiseptic healing properties. These properties help to maintain the structure and elasticity of your skin. All the ingredients include effective exfoliating agents, which will help you remove all the dirt, blackheads, blemishes, dead skin, and unclog pores. It reduces the extra oil and helps to soothe your skin. This face scrub will help you to reduce inflammation and prevent from acne and pimples.

What else do you need? I hope all of your questions and doubts are cleared. Guys, give it a try, and do let me know your experience.

Which Color Combination Do You Think Is The Best? - Mandala Art

Mandala is an Art form that represents the spiritual and ritual symbol of Asian culture. It is an ancient art and originated in Buddhism. The evidence of Mandala art has also appeared in other religions too.

These Mandala designs are a beautiful group of circles, lines, and curves. One cannot resist praising them. You will find huge patterns of this art over the internet. I will definitely say that people are so talented who create these designs. Though I tried to make one but failed, I decided to color these already originated designs.

Below are some beautiful designs I found on the internet and I tried to make them more beautiful by making them colorful.

Let me know which color combinations do you like the most. Also, I would love to have your suggestions if any. ๐Ÿ’—

DIY Honey Banana Hair Mask and Review

The most important part of your face is your hairs. Hairs enhance your personality. We do many hair styles to change our look. Male or female all need healthy, strong, smooth and shiny hair. The market is full of hair products like hair mask, serums, shampoos, conditioners, hair oils and so on. In this fast moving life, where, we don’t have time not even for food, we run after all the possible quick fixes for everything. But the reality is every product is made up of chemicals. We are searching natural benefits in every chemical product. If you really need natural help for yourself then you need to go for natural things.

Few days back, I tried DIY Honey and Banana hair mask for my hairs. You just need 2 ingredients to prepare this mask.
  1. 1 ripe banana
  2. 1 tablespoon of Honey

Method:

Mash the ripe banana properly, here with "properly" I mean try to make a smooth lump free paste. Now add 1 tablespoon of honey to it. Apply this mask with your hand and leave it for half an hour. Now wash your hairs with your regular shampoo.

This mask works well on frizzy and dry hairs. We all know the health benefit of banana. It is a complete food and good for every age. Banana contains fiber, anti-oxidants, potassium, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Magnesium, protein, carbohydrate and fat.  Banana and honey’s properties soften the hair, protect from split ends and breakage and maintain the hair’s natural elasticity.

Review: This mask is no doubt little messy and would be difficult to clean the hair easily. Even while combing you will find banana’s particle on floor, but you will definitely find your hair much smoother than before.

Note: You can mix 1 tablespoon curd for dry hairs and 1 tablespoon lemon for oily hairs in the mask.

Give it a try and let me know your experience.๐Ÿ’—

Easy Peasy DIY For Glass Bottles

When we (me and my husband) are free and don’t want to stay at home, we usually prefer to go out for some household shopping or visit nearby mall or visit my sister’s home as we don’t have any relative except her at Bangalore. Not so interesting right, yes I agree๐Ÿ˜. So last week we went out for some household shopping at Dmart and with other required things, I also picked up a packet of gem stone multicolored sticker. These stickers are decorative items for kids used in schools mostly for DIYs in art and craft classes. The packet was about 18-19Rs.

Few weeks back, I bought a Money Plant for my living room and put it in a glass bottle. This bottle was so simple that I wanted to do something decorative on it. Yes, this is why I picked up that sticker. I had something in my mind with it, not too decorative but better than this clean and clear bottle.

Finally, today I am all alone at home and nothing much to do, so I decided to complete that decoration task. First I changed the water of that bottle so that I don’t need to change it after sticking gems on it at least for few weeks. There were 8 rows of gems in it, I thought all the gems are separate but these were in a row. Earlier, I thought I will do some complicated and stylish designs on it but at last I just stick out those rows and pasted on the bottle. And the result is below ๐Ÿ‘‡

Hmm, not so good but better than the plain glass, right. I think it is looking better now.  This was my simple and easy DIY of the day. Well, I did it too simple but you can do some art work on this plain bottle. You can paste some more gems in different pattern on it or if you know how to paint, you can do some painting on it with Acrylic Enamel colors.

I would love to know your ideas. Keep sharing๐Ÿ’—
