Which Color Combination Do You Think Is The Best? - Mandala Art

Mandala is an Art form that represents the spiritual and ritual symbol of Asian culture. It is an ancient art and originated in Buddhism. The evidence of Mandala art has also appeared in other religions too.

These Mandala designs are a beautiful group of circles, lines, and curves. One cannot resist praising them. You will find huge patterns of this art over the internet. I will definitely say that people are so talented who create these designs. Though I tried to make one but failed, I decided to color these already originated designs.

Below are some beautiful designs I found on the internet and I tried to make them more beautiful by making them colorful.

Let me know which color combinations do you like the most. Also, I would love to have your suggestions if any. 💗

Besan Cheela - Quick, Easy and Healthy Breakfast

Breakfast is an everyday morning challenge for everyone. The challenge starts by asking everyone in the family ‘What they would like to have in breakfast’ and the family passes the challenge back to you by saying ‘Whatever you like OR anything will work’. Now it's time to find out a healthy, easy and quick option, and whenever I face this situation I decide to make Besan cheela. Today, I am going to share the recipe of a simple Besan cheela with fewer ingredients.

Besan cheela is famous all over India. Some of the states call it Chilla and some of them call it Pudla. Basically, Besan is called Gram flour/ Chickpeas flour in English. Chickpeas are a good source of sodium, potassium, carbohydrate, protein, vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Iron, and Magnesium. Gram flour is good in fiber also. Because of these nutrition values, Besan is a healthy option in breakfast or one can also have it as an evening snack. Besan chilla is Vegan as well as gluten-free. You can make it healthier by adding some grated vegetables.

Though the besan is healthy people should avoid it when they have an upset stomach. Because gram flour is heavy to digest, therefore whenever you make a besan recipe always prefer to add Ajwain (Carom seeds), Ginger, and Hing (asafoetida) which will help to digest it.

Diabetic people are restricted to many foods, but they can easily enjoy this chilla. You can have besan cheela in any season. Gram flour keeps you full for a long time therefore one can add this recipe to their weight loss diet also.

Well, after all the above information, let's start to prepare our Besan cheela recipe.

Ingredients :

  • 1 Cup Chickpea flour/Besan
  • 1 Small finely chopped onion
  • 1 Small finely tomato chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon dry fenugreek leaves (Kasuri Methi)
  • 1 finely chopped green chilli (optional)
  • ¼ tablespoon Ajwain (Carom seeds)
  • ¼ tablespoon Ginger paste
  • ¼ tablespoon asafoetida (hing)
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Water as per the requirement
  • Oil or Ghee as per the requirement

Instructions :

  • Take a bowl, add Besan, chopped onion, chopped tomato, green chilli, ajwain, ginger paste, hing, and salt.
  • Mix all and gradually add water to make the batter. While making batter keep mixing slowly to avoid the lumps.
  • Keep the batter aside for 10 minutes.
  • You can make the Cheela in a Pan or in Non-stick Tawa. Heat the Tawa and add tablespoon oil and spread the batter gradually.
  • Make the Chilla size as per your choice.
  • Cook both the side till it becomes golden brown.
  • Serve it hot with your favorite dip or sauce or chutney. You can also enjoy it with your Tea or Coffee.
  • Note: Make the consistency of the batter thick or thin as per your choice. Just keep in mind that it should be smooth and lump-free.

Try it and share your experience with me too. 😃

Sharing My First Travel Experience At Goa

Today I am going to talk about a place in India which is having breathtaking beaches, delicious food, vibrant nightlife, historic monuments, and adventure activities. YES, Of course, it is GOA, considered as a hot and happening place of India. I think most of the Indians would like to visit Goa once in their life.

After 3 years of married life, we finally decided to visit Goa. Goa is a state situated on the south-western coast of India. It has a history of former Portuguese territory. You will find a huge list of tour and travel company’s websites where you can find many Goa tour packages. After doing so much research on Google we decided to plan it according to our convenience and not to go for any package. We both are simple and not so party people and we wanted this trip simple and easy going. Therefore we chose only selected places to visit. Of course, Goa is a place for everyone and one can make it budget-friendly as well as luxurious trips as per their choice.  We chose in between budget trips, not so low not so high.

We planned the trip in February 2019 and booked the hotel for 5 nights and 6 days from 17th Feb to 22nd Feb. I will share my hotel experience later. We booked the tickets from Delhi to Goa, from IGI airport to Dabolim Airport. It took two and a half hours to reach our destination airport. The air tickets for up and down cost us between Rs.16000 to Rs.17000 for 2. From Dabolim airport, we hired an airport taxi cab service for our destination hotel ‘IBIS Style Goa’ situated in Calangute. The taxi cost us around Rs.1100 and it took 1 hour to reach the hotel.

You can easily reach Goa by Air, Rail or by Road.  According to my research, there are two railway stations known as Madgaon and Vasco-da-gama. If you are thinking to travel by road you can hire a cab or bus from nearby cities and towns.  To explore Goa renting a bike or scooter is the most exciting and budget-friendly way. We took the scooter on rent from the hotel itself and the cost of the scooter was Rs. 350 per day and we hired it for 3 days. You need to submit your id proof as security to the scooter owner. We handed over our PAN Card. Keep in mind, always check the condition of the scooter before taking it, you should click some pictures or a short video of the scooter before finalizing the deal. Also, you will have to fill the oil tank as per your requirement.

Our hotel was near to the main beaches like Baga,  Calangute, Candolim and  Anjuna Beach.  Everything was near to us. In Goa where you can book a Resort and hotel's high-end beachside, on the other hand, you can also find budget-friendly hostels, homestays, and shacks easily. We went to the Calangute beach first and then Baga and Anjuna beach. I like Calangute beach the most because of its location and the crowd. We also explored its nearby markets. I am not sure it is the month we choose or the time we went to the beaches, the crowd at the beaches was bearable. In the day time between 11 am to 12 pm the beaches were less crowded but after 4 pm you can find a good mob.

To create a memorable beach holiday experience, there are many things to do at the beach. You can do lots of interesting water activities in the day time like water skiing, boat rides, scuba diving, kite surfing, etc. If you are a party animal you can enjoy the beach parties at night or you can visit famous nightclubs and resto-bars. Or if you are like us the peaceful and nature-loving human you can simply enjoy the sunset at the beach. There are so many historic places and forts to visit and shopaholic people can do shopping at nearby flea markets. Foodies can enjoy the Goan food and yes, vegetarians like me can easily find delicious food for themselves. We did some purchasing too.

We did nothing too much there but still for me it was a pleasant and memorable experience. I loved the environment and the weather. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place if you just drive to explore its inner places. You will feel near to nature.  What I realized; it’s a myth that Goa is only for party-loving people, but it is for peace-loving people too.

Review On Vaseline Healthy Bright Daily Brightening Body Lotion

It is the month of November and the winter season has started in North India. People also have started wearing winter clothes and the markets are full of related stuff. I am blessed with dry skin and therefore this season act as a curse for me. And in this case, a well hydrating lotion/cream is a blessing for me. Dry skin needs extra care this season.

Well, I am at my mom's place in Delhi and the bad news is I forgot my body lotion. Here, I found this Vaseline product which I have heard about in advertisement. So I tried it and today I am going to give my review on the same.

The Product is " Vaseline Healthy Bright Daily Brightening Even Tone Lotion."

Company Claims: Product contains Vitamin B3 and Triple Sunscreens( triple sunscreen means it takes off your skin from all 3 harmful sun rays (UVA, UVB, and infrared rays). In just 2 weeks you will get visible radiant skin with a natural glow.

Consistency: The product is neither runny nor thick. It is non-greasy and smooth. Absorb in the skin easily.

Color: The lotion is of light pink color and it looks like a foundation.

Smell: It has a light sweet floral fragrance that stays for a short time.

Packaging: The product comes in a plastic pink bottle with a smart pump that locks easily. It raises and turns 90 degrees. It is available in 3 packs but the pump is only available in the 400ml pack. The smaller packs are travel friendly and easy to handle.

IngredientsWater, Isopropyl myristate, Stearic acid, Mineral oil, Glyceryl stearate, Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, Niacinamide, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone, Butylmethoxydibenzoylmethane, Carbomer, Cetyl alcohol, Methyl Paraben, Disodium EDTA, Hdroxystearic Acid, Propylparaben, Petrolatum, Titanium Dioxide (AND) Aluminum Hydroxide (AND) Steric Acid, Titanium Dioxide (AND) Aluminum Hydroxide (AND) Dimethicone, CI 77491 (AND) Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate (AND) Triethoxysilyethyl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Perfume, Alpha-Isomethylionone, Benzyl salicylate, Butyphenyl Methylpropional, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool.

Pricing: To know the price, kindly consult online websites like Amazon, Nayka, Flipkarts, etc.  As you can find a good deal there.

My experience after use:

Well, the product is non-sticky as claims and it absorbs in the skin easily. Also, I like the fragrance though it doesn't stay for long. The lotion hydrates the skin a little. As I told you initially that my skin is dry and I need a well hydrating lotion/cream, therefore I am disappointed with it. It gives a pinkish shade on the skin as if you have applied a foundation, also the company claims it contains sunscreen in it but there is no SPF mentioned. I would not say it will lighten your skin and the product is full of Chemicals. Overall It is a good product for Normal to Oily skin in summer as well as in winters, but a dry skin person can use it only in the summer. For me, it is a big 'NO' for my skin.

How I Made Whole Wheat Flour Ladoo (atta ladoo recipe)

October and November are the months of festivals and we Indians celebrate all of them. Actually, we Indians do not miss any opportunities to celebrate. And of course, any celebration is incomplete without sweets.  We are fond of food and therefore one will find countless recipes of amazing tasty dishes here. Indian recipes vary across the region and states.

Now the point is that I also have tried a sweet dish with the reference of Youtube videos. I was looking for something which is healthy as well as easy to prepare. And finally, I decide to make Whole wheat flour ladoo Or Atta ladoo with lots of healthy nuts.

Following are the ingredients needed:
  1. 2 Cup of Whole-wheat flour
  2. 1 Cup of Ghee
  3. 1 Cup of Powdered sugar (Or jaggery)
  4. A handful of dry fruits as per your liking (roasted)
Now let's get started 👧 :
  1. Dry roast your dry fruits and coarse grind them.
  2. Now dry roast Whole wheat flour until it turns golden and aromatic.
  3. Add Ghee into it and roast for 2-3 minutes, till it gets absorbed by the flour.
  4. Now add dry fruits
  5. Turn off the Gas stove and allow the mixture to cool down a little.
  6. Add the sugar and start making ladoos. Mind that the mixture should be warm.
Let your ladoos cool down for a better taste. Enjoy your ladoos whenever feel low. These ladoos are full of energy and lots of good health. But eat only 1 or 2 in a day depends on the size of ladoos because I bet you can't resist eating more. 😁

This was the review of the Atta ladoo recipe. I will give it 5 stars and a big thumbs up. You must try it today.
